Tens of thousands of PKK cadres enlivened the Fun Walk and Fun Run in Monas area, Gambir, Central Jakarta, Sunday (12/8). They were from Jabodetabek (Greater Jakarta).

The event was held in collaboration with the Home Ministry,Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Ministry (PPAP), and Jakarta Provincial Government. It was held to commemorate Mother's Day.

Those participants were released by TP PKK Chairperson; Home Minister Tri Tito Karnavian, PPAPP Minister, and Acting Jakarta Governor, Teguh Setyabudi, at around 6.15 PM from Monas.

There were also health checks services, blood donations, dukcapil services, and bazaars.

According to Karnavian, he invited all elements of society, especially women, to actively participate in developing the country.

"We're here in voicing mothers' voices to build Indonesia free from domestic violence, sexual, and child protection," he explained.

Acting Governor, Teguh Setyabudi explained the Jakarta Government supported today's event by mobilizing around 17,000 PKK cadres from Jabodetabek

"Thank you for your participation," he exclaimed.
